Investing in start-ups involves risks, including loss of capital, illiquidity, dilution, lack of dividends. It is suitable only for investors capable of evaluating and bearing those risks. In any event, it should be done only as part of a diversified portfolio (meaning a portfolio in which investment in start-ups represents only a fraction of the total investments or assets). Before investing please read the risk warnings available at
https://seedblink.com/generalterms as well as the risks related provisions of the investment facilitation agreement that will be provided to you for the relevant campaign. SeedBlink is not responsible for any information provided by the start-ups, even if distributed through or by SeedBlink. SeedBlink does not endorse any start-up for investment nor does it advise you on the merits of your investment. Seedblink does not provide to you any other advisory services. The decision to invest is yours only. If you require help in evaluating a decision to invest, you should consult a professional adviser. The messages and documentation you receive from SeedBlink or the start-ups have been neither verified nor approved by the Romanian or the European authorities. Nothing in this message shall be considered an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security to any person in any jurisdiction to whom or in which such offer, solicitation or sale is unlawful.

SeedBlink's Quality Check Procedures

Last updated on: November 2023

At SeedBlink, we strive to be as transparent and open as we can be with both investors and business owners about everything we do. We provide all sorts of investors the chance to participate in fascinating early-stage and growth companies, structuring our deals to guarantee that investors and founders alike share in any profits.

A business acceptance to raise money on SeedBlink is seen as a quality seal. We are not looking to do business with any startup, but only those who since their inception created a solid, healthy firm and are upfront with their operations, numbers, and technology, passing our quality standards. That is one of the biggest factors driving so many European investors to the constant flow of opportunities on SeedBlink.

We do not perform a legal, -financial or commercial due diligence process on the companies raising money on SeedBlink platform, and we are unable to offer customized due diligence in accordance with a certain investor's unique investment thesis. Hence, before making an investment decision, we encourage all investors to conduct their own due diligence as they see fit and in accordance with their own risk assessment.

Before allowing the opportunity to open to investors, we investigate all claims and facts made in a company's pitch. We check to make sure every statement is concise, and not deceptive. We ask each company to offer more proof to support any material assertions of truth, make changes to the representations, or remove them altogether.

Before allowing the opportunity to open to investors, we perform all due diligence checks required by the ECSPR (Regulation (EU) 2020/1503).

We give investors direct access to the businesses and entrepreneurs raising money on the platform. This gives investors the chance to ask for more information that matters to them. Investors have a variety of options, including scheduling meetings and asking questions, directly on the dedicated project page on the platform, or privately to the founder.

Based on the authorization obtained from the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) requires us to protect investors in a number of ways, including:

  • Applying KYC/AML procedures and verifying the identity of every investor on the platform.
  • Entry knowledge test and simulation of the ability to bear loss.
  • Informing about the financial risks.
  • Monitoring investment activities.

We work directly with startups to assist them in producing frequent and meaningful investor updates as well as assisting them in planning biannual meetings for better communication. Founders and investors can interact at any time using Circle, our networking tool, in private groups.
